Our Head Coach has over 20 years of martial arts experience. Having competed in kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu jitsu and MMA in the UK and Thailand and trained in some of the best kickboxing, Muay Thai and MMA gyms around the world, he’s used his wealth of knowledge to make kickboxing fun, safe and accessible for all. It’s all in the details with our technical master. You’ll see your skills rocket and be kicking and punching like a pro in no time while still sweating buckets in every one of his classes.
Our highly qualified Head Coach has been teaching martial arts since 2006, is a qualified ISSA personal trainer, and holds a Bachelor’s degree BA (hons) and a teaching degree (PGCE) from Durham University in the UK.

Our pint-sized coach, Mia, also known as The Little Menace, is not as sweet as she looks. The Vietnam native tried kickboxing in 2014 and was instantly hooked. With competing never on her mind, she fell in love with the physical and mental challenges kickboxing training presents. Fast forward to today, and she can’t go a day without smashing the pads or the heavy bags.
‘Kickboxing is not just for people who want to fight. It’s an amazing way to get in shape and I love seeing my skills improve with each session. For me, it’s double the benefit of a regular workout’.
Mia is the queen of speed, so expect a fast-paced, intensive workout with very few breaks. She takes no prisoners. Good luck, you’re going to need it!
Mia has been teaching kickboxing since 2017, is a ISSA qualified personal trainer and holds a Bachelor's Degree BA (Hons) from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland.
Having started martial arts at a young age, Matt has always been involved in one physical activity after another. Beginning in kickboxing while in grade school, he began cross-training in TaeKwonDo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and then transitioned to MMA, before moving to Vietnam in 2017. He has been a part of the KBF family for a number of years and you can expect an intense upbeat workout with continuous encouragement to work harder than you thought you could.
Matt has been involved in, competing and coaching martial arts for over 10 years and always looks for ways to improve in technique and effort. A smile at the end of an exhausting workout is the goal any time you see Matt at the front of the class.
